Hard at work on a bizarre passage that scholars have tended to overlook, a portion of the biography of Empedocles preserved by Diogenes Laertius (8.63-64) that associates him with democratic ideology. I’ll update on it as soon as I can figure out what the Zeus is going on. So that means it’s intermission time, until I have that luxury.
